Changes In Business Practices, Sales, and Services

One of the things GDI is very active in is working with our business owner clients in more of a consulting role than just as an insurance broker.  Whatever the problem is we try our best to help come up with the solution.  We work with their attorneys, CPA’s, Banks, as well as directly with their key people.

An example of this can be found in this video “save that business”.  I made this video several months ago to share with a business owner that was having trouble staying afloat.  He and his partner had very different ideas about what needed to be done.  One thought nothing had to be done differently as “they had been working this way for over 30 years.”  While the one that reached out to me for help understood that things changed in 2007, and didn’t get better in 2008, or 2009, and if they wanted to make it through 2010 they had to do things differently.

This is a 15 minute video.  Sorry about that, but it is just an overview of the problem and the need for a real solution.  The reason I am sharing it with you today May 2010, is it still is very relevant, and I hope it sparks some ideas, and helps you as we all learn how to recreate our business’s together.
