IRS Mileage Rate Change For 1-1-11 GDI Insurance

On Dec. 3, 2010, the IRS announced the standard mileage rates to be used in 2011 for use in calculating deductions for use of an automobile for business-related, charitable, medical or relocation-related purposes. The standard mileage rate for business use of a vehicle is also used in reimbursing employees for their use of personal vehicles for their employer’s business.
